Family is my Foundation

Family to DeVon is everything. He and his wife Sarita have been married for seven years. They have two beautiful daughters Camille and Carinne, that they love dearly. Like DeVon, his wife Sarita has her own business. She has a childcare business called Smith's in Home-care located in Greenville, South Carolina.

DeVon Smith, also known as Mr. Change your Mindset, is originally from the big city of Allendale, South Carolina. DeVon currently resides in Greenville, SC, where he has for the past 12 years along with his (wife) Sarita; and (daughters)Camille and Carinne.

In 2010 DeVon received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing from Francis Marion University. Following graduation, he pursued careers in corporate America for the next seven years. However, through these careers, he realized that they did not fulfill him. So, in 2017 he leaped out on faith and began helping others activate their greatness.

Since then, DeVon has touched and motivated so many lives. His transformational speeches and published book, "How A Roundball Shaped My Life," has empowered many students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and athletes to change their mindsets. In addition, his "Activate Program" has exposed students to what can help them unlock their full potential. Over the past five years, Devons has spoken to many schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, churches, and athletic teams across the state. He also has a weekly radio segment and is the owner/trainer of the Keep Sleeping On Us Basketball Academy, which helps young athletes from the Low Country of South Carolina who don't have the resources get elite-level basketball training.

As an author, motivational speaker, and basketball skills development trainer: DeVon's mission is to show individuals through his actions and words that they have a gift inside of them that can unlock their wildest dreams. They just have to be "Crazy Enough to Believe"; it can happen.
